For people with chronic illness, self-advocacy is often the cornerstone of creating a career that feels nourishing and sustainable. But it can be hard to advocate for ourselves at work, both because we fear being seen as "difficult" or "too much" when we share our needs, and because we don't know our rights or how to skilfully invoke them.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • How to even identify and express your needs and feelings
  • The key legal protections in the United States including medical leave and reasonable accommodations for employees.
  • How to skilfully and authentically invoke these rights.
